Imagine a brisk spring morning with the excitement building as the start of the first ever 26.2 mile marathon in Lancaster County, PA approaches. It all kicks off on the 104 acre campus of Garden Spot Village adjacent to New Holland in north eastern Lancaster County.

The race starts by the Legacy Garden and travels east for about 2 miles. It then circles around west through the Amish farmlands at the foot of the Welsh Mountain for approximately 12 miles before looping back to campus. During this time of year the scenery is amazing, the farmers are tilling the fields with horse drawn plows and there are sure to be horse and buggies about.

This is a run for everyone whether you are a beginner, experienced, leisure or competitive runner. Cash awards will be presented in four categories. There is plenty of space available for family, friends and spectators. Don't miss this exciting time!
